The man was spotted near Carey's Woods near Llewellyn Road on Sunday, and again on Monday behind a tree, Montclair Police Sgt. Terence Turner said.
When the suspect on Monday saw the woman look at him, he hid behind a tree and she lost sight of him. The resident returned home and contacted the police.
Patrol canvassed the woods and the surrounding area but were unable to locate anybody.
The man was described as approximately 30-35 years old, 5’11” tall, wearing a royal blue short sleeve crew T-shirt and blue jeans.
